President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mehdi Safari.
Safari conveyed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad `s greetings to the Head of State. The Iranian Deputy FM said this is not his first visit to Baku, adding "much has changed here".
President Ilham Aliyev praised the level of Azerbaijan-Iran cooperation, saying it has good prospects. The President expressed confidence "friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Iran will be continued".
President Ilham Aliyev asked Safari to deliver his greetings to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
